Oregon REALTORS® to Participate in Nationwide Open House

WHAT: The Oregon Association of REALTORS® is announcing its participation in the first
annual REALTOR® Nationwide Open House Weekend, April 10- 11, 2010. The
purpose of the nationwide campaign is to increase consumer awareness of the
benefits of buying a home, give sellers an opportunity to increase the exposure for
their homes for sale and to continue to spread the word about the expanded
first-time homebuyer tax credit which ends April 30, 2010.

WHO: REALTOR® Nationwide Open House Weekend is a collaborative effort sponsored
by REALTOR® Associations around the nation under the umbrella of the National
Association of REALTORS®.

WHEN: Saturday & Sunday, April 10-11, 2010

WHY: This is an incredible opportunity for sellers to showcase their home and potential
homebuyers to shop for a new home while:
• Interest rates are still low
• Home prices are lower
• Home inventories are broad
• The Expanded First-time Homebuyer’s Federal Tax Credit is still available.  Contracts must be in place by April 30, 2010 so time is of the essence!

I will be holding an open house in Beaverton, Oregon on Sunday, April 11th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.

Aloha new construction open homes this Saturday

I am holding open houses for three new construction homes in Aloha this coming Saturday, February 27th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.   They are located at 4033, 4072, and 4088 SW Moniker Place, Aloha, 97007.  This is the last weekend before the sellers take the homes off the market!

I am holding an open house tomorrow, Sunday, December 6th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at 10885 SW Meadowbrook Drive, Tigard 97224, RMLS number 9083799.  This turnkey condo is part of the Summerfield 55 and older community, which means at least 80% of the properties has at least one resident who is 55 or older; one of the rare exceptions to the Fair Housing Act.  This open house is part of a community wide tour of 17 properties tomorrow, including condominiums, townhouses, and single family homes that all have access to golf, a swimming pool, a large and modern clubhouse, along with other amenities and community activities.
